I understand solitude to delight in being alone but not lonely. In a world of constant - sometimes unasked for and unwanted connectivity versus connection, I have found solitude to be something to consciously make room for.

But what sometimes sounds like a boundary, to choose to be by myself is not such a hard boundary line at all. It's a natural response to the situation that asks me to be alone in that moment. To maybe connect with myself and what I'm sensing and simply be in my body, to connect with what I'm thinking and judging, and probe further. There are many reasons to seek solitude.
